As IB World School, we aim to develop internationally minded people who, recognizing their common
humanity and shared guardianship of the planet help to create a better and more peaceful world.
During the training day, special attention was paid to the student's motivation and how multidisciplinary teaching of STEM subjects develops students’ natural curiosity and skills to conduct independent research while understanding complex problems of local and global significance.

The teachers were introduced to the BIG GAME project and ways to integrate it into IB units of inquiry. Teachers found that many scenarios overlap with the IB curriculum and principles, making it a great opportunity to enrich learning and acquire digital skills. Another positive aspect was the science-based nature of the game, which guides students to think critically and present their results with a strong sense of fairness, justice and respect.  

A learning scenario was played together, followed by a joint discussion on how to use the game at different levels of education and how to raise awareness in other schools across Estonia.
