Every year the Comprehensive School “Maria Montessori” organizes an “Open Day” to disseminate the school projects and activities. Last December the students of the second year impressed parents and teachers by presenting two Big Game scenarios involving our territory. A group of students imagined the ecological disaster caused by the Nuclear Power Plant which is about 20 km far from Terracina. Another group of students showed the dangerous effects on the ecosystem created by the infesting species of the killer crayfish in the water courses near Terracina. After a careful analysis of our environment and its problems, the students suggested some original and clever solutions. The audience was really impressed by this fascinating voyage through fears and hopes of the new generations.
